Do You Have An Emergency Financial Need?

Since I don't know what area of technology you are interested in studying, nor do I know what State/City you reside in I am only able to make a few general suggestions.
I can suggest that you look up *Foundations, *Organizations , and *Professional Associations at the State , or Federal level ( where you reside) , also some are within the Colleges and Universities that you are interested in attending . There are some Public and Private Organizations and Professional Associations that fund scholarships/grants /fellowships/, and financial assistance for graduates in the field of technology you are interested in pursuing.
The National Science Foundation would be a good place to start, also look up "National Coveted College Scholarships, Graduate Fellowships, and Post Doctoral Awards" Better hurry and file as the dead lines for many of these programs are coming up soon. Hope this helps.

Do You Have An Emergency Financial Need?

You are the driver of the bus that is your life....What ever you want to become you can become, and it has nothing to do with luck .You can become a Lawyer, Dentist, Teacher, Counselor, Artist ...what ever you decide to become you can acheive. You have the power to decide what you want to be and you have the power to attract that and manifest that life you want into existence .
As a wise man once said;
" Whether you believe you can or you believe you can't you are right either way." This is a quote from Henry Ford ,, those are powerful words mostly because they are true, and yes that is just that simple....... So * Believe you can acheive*.
Of course you are smart enough to know there is going to be work involved too , but you and you alone are the deciding factor of what you can accomplish.
"Give a man a fish and he has dinner for the day ,but teach a man to fish and he has food for life."
If you let me know what "Degree" you are going to school for and what city /State you are in. I can look up more specific information that may help streamline things for you. You of course will have to look up to see if you meet the " eligibility requirements" , and then apply for the grants/scholarships,( before the dead lines) and write the 'essays" to get the assistance that you need to succeed. Also there are Organizations that may be of help for your mothers ( foreclosure situation) too. You have a good energy and that will help your situation greatly.... I truly hope you much happiness , and success in your life , and career .

Do You Have An Emergency Financial Need?

With out knowing exactly what State / City you are in I can only give you a few suggestions. Look up Scholarships and Grants in your area for your specific degree you are interested in earning.. If you are an athlete there is financial assistance based on that too. Look up information at your local library and the College library you are interested in attending. Some grant information is often in the reference area behind the librarians desk and you have to ask for it and leave an I.D. to be able to look up additional funding that may not be listed "on line" or available in the financial aid office. Most people do not know all there is to know about the grants and scholarships avaliable ( as there are literally hundreds of thousands of grants and scholarships out there) if you want that information you have to invest in your self and spend the time to look it up for yourself . You seem a determined and willing to make your life better for your self and others in your life , so here are additional suggestions.
Look up *Public and *Private Organizations in your area that will be of assistance to you. Then look up *Professional Associations that cater to your specific ethnicity/degree/need. A lot of grants and scholarships are based on "financial need" but some require "merit" of some sort such as high grades ,conduct, character , and some may require an "essay" ( for example) why you think you should get the funds. Some are specifically for those of a certain ethnicity , for example they have grants/scholarships/ and educational funding for those who are "Asian,Hispanic,African American, Indian,Pacific islander,etc... the list is endless. Look up" non traditional grants and scholarships too as some help just because you are.... a *single parent, (or) are *left handed , had a *parent or *relative who served in the military who died or was injured, and There is assistance for those who were in *foster homes,or those who's *parent worked in a specific field (or ) business. There are many many organizations and Associations that are willing to be of assistance you just have to do some searching and find the ones that suite you the best. If you are in need of "emergency financial assistance" Look up "Catholic Charities,Salvation Army and other "emergency financial assistance' Organizations in your area ( and may have other grants avaliable too ) they often help out with a one time rent deposit and rent, electric etc. If they can't help you they usually refer you to some one who can.
I hope this helps

I see some of the posts have "a paticular time " under the nick name of the person making the post. Then I notice that there are at times ( not always) a date indicated under the nick name of the poster. Some of the "posts" appear to be quite old and I was wondering if the date under a persons "nick name " was the date the person joined aidpage... or if some how an old post is some how being forwarded into current - post-conversations. hi everyone. am jenny. i live in Raleigh with my brother and his wife. i have 2 girls ages

Look up "emergency financial assistance" in your area. Usually every State has Catholic Charities , Salvation Army and other such organizations which help out with rent and deposits. If you have no income ( and have children) you may be eligible for temporary State assistance welfare and food stamps until you can get on your feet. There are also Churches and other organizations that help in an emergency situation. Also if you are interested in continuing your education there are grants and scholarships that can help fund that. Look up "nontraditional grants too. Some of these "non traditional grants/scholarships' can be used to also pay for child care , transportation and other things while you are in school.
I hope the best for you and your little ones.

I have information that could be of help, but time is some what of an obstacle. So hear me out ... I can only suggest to you to put a ad in your local paper (asking for a random act of kindness to help with this situation) most papers will put an ad for free as long as you are not selling anything. You may even go to those in a higher position in the school your children attend ( since they are a "Christian school") and ask if they will forgive the balance that you owe them for the children's sake. I am sure that your intentions of giving your children the "gift of graduating with other students" was well intended and that the loan and payment plan for their education was made in "good faith". I believe you fully intended on making the payments , but circumstances beyond your control ( your accident and your husband's mental illness) has caused unforeseeable financial problems which prevented that . You can explain that in the ad or to the school officials who ever you decide to ask . This situation is not a good one and is not only causing distress in your life but it is causing a lot of stress in your son and daughter's life too. You have to pull up your boot straps and get creative ... Call local Churches and other places that help with "emergency financial assistance" in your community and ask if they can make a direct deposit towards the debt at the school.
If the $ 4,600 seems too much for you to ask anyone person for , break up the $ 4,600 dollars into 46 - $100.00 - dollar requests , What ever you decide to do time is of the essence and you need to act quickly. Start making phone calls and requesting help . I am hoping for the children's sake , and yours that there will be a kind and generous person who will be able to quickly assist you .

"Emergency Dental" /"Volunteer Dentistry "
Look up 'emergency financial assistance" (or )"emergency dental assistance ("type in" what ever type of assistance you need on the computer ...plus the name of the area you live in. "usually several organizations pop up . I know that Most States have "emergency dental " and will pull teeth in need of being pulled. Specially if you have an abscess (or) the gums are infected. This is a long shot ,but some States ( not all states) have some kind of "Volunteer Dentistry " program where Dentist donate their time to fix teeth of those who are ; disabled, elderly, medically compromised, and those who can't afford treatment ,nor get public aid. These programs are for those who otherwise would not be able to afford dental . Also Most States have a Catholic Charities , and Salvation Army, and other local organizations/foundations that may be of help and if not you can ask if they are able to refer you to an organization or program that can.
Hope this help .

Look up "Scholarships and grants for individuals" , for business training/classes in your area.
There are some Scholarships and grants for individuals that not only help with training /education for small business owners , but help a person acquire funds for said small business .
Some " Nonprofit 501(c)(3) organizations" help (or) assist individuals to get funding to become self sufficient (and (or) start a small business.
Look up "Free Business training for small business" . Better yet ...Call the Small Business Administration in your area. You can also find out if there is a "Micro business training organization" in your area too .
* Let your fingers do the walking ..since you have access to a computer*
These programs are usually free (or) at reduced cost to individuals on low income.. Hope this helps : )

The thing about an RV is that they are hot in the summer and cold in the winter. So if the weather goes from one extreme to an other (in your area) it might not be a good idea to live in such a small place that will need constant heat(or) cooling in order for it to be livable. I bought a small 15 foot trailer(simular to that model) when I was in my 20's so I would have a nice place to study while going to college. I was on my parents property so I did not have to pay electric, but it was hot in the summer and cold in the winter. She will most likely incur more expenses than just light work and a tire. She will have to have electric if she is going to have lights and likely she will have to buy propane if the stove isn't electric. Plus the rental space . Also I didn't know if you know this but the doors on those RV and small trailers have flimsy locks and doors. If someone strong pulls on them hard enough ( even when locked) the lock will often come undone and some times even brake. I know I had someone do that to me when I wouldn't let them in, and the guy that we called to fix the lock said that was a common problem of those type of doors. Even tho it sounds nice ( for now) it might be better and much safer if she stayed where she was at and looked into local organizations to help her get a small apartment.
So here are a few suggestions.
Most States have a
Catholic Charities ( and you don't have to be Catholic to get assistance from them) they have "emergency financial assistance" and help out with rent deposits, rent, utilities and much more .I don't know the area that you are in so I am not able to look up specific info for her but,
Most States also have a...
"Salvation Army " which helps out with "emergency financial assistance" to just like Catholic Charities does.
You can look online for "emergency financial assistance " (or) what ever assistance you (or) your friend are in need of . Just type in the name of the town in your specific area + "emergency financial assistance " and several organizations should pop up. I hope this helps...
P.S.
It is sweet of you to help her , and she is lucky to have a friend like you.

god help my family

This is for People in Dublin NC and for "God help my family" too.
Here is a few I looked up for you.
1.) Catholic Charities ( you don't have to be Catholic to get assistance from them) is located at 590 Cedar Creek Rd. Fayetteville NC 28312
Their phone number is (910) 424 -2020
and
2.) Salvation Army in Dublin N.C. I located a" Salvation Army "
at Fayetteville , 220 E. Russell St in Freeman NC Phone number is (910) 480-8119
Both organizations help with rent ,and deposits, utilities and more.

3.) Project People who care
Phone (910) 483- 1401
4.) Emergency Assistance,Church & Community Center Red Springs Telephone (910) 843 -4120
5.)Church and Community Center Robeson County Phone
(910) 738-5204

Since you have access to a computer "let your fingers do the walking" and look up other "emergency financial assistance " in Dublin NC. Make a list of organizations that pop up. Before you go down to one of these organizations ....
Ask what documentation you will need and then "Be ready with ALL" the documentation you will need before you apply ( to expedite the application process) so when you do apply for this assistance you will not have to end up going back and forth .
You will have to call to ask what are the required documents ..such as picture I.D. Social Security numbers for you (or) for all family members, Income verification.
If you are working it could be your most recent check stub( possibly a copy of your most recent income tax that was filed) and(or) if you have any State assistance it would be the most recent welfare letter. You might not need all these things ( it is just a list of what they might ask for) but you will definitely need a State I.D, for sure. Also look up Church's too .
Please look up the information on your computer to make sure the addresses and phone numbers are accurate before you go down there . Also call and ask what other assistance they have that could be of help to you. Hope this helps and God Bless you and yours.

Random sillyness.....
Oh my gosh ! I was using the numbers above the key board ,but that did not work . Also if you push alt + 24 ( and you push 24 more than once) you will get directed to another " tab" ┘æ9!√c/Q91)kâ7 ha ! ha ! I am just pushing random numbers. My key board is old so the buttons stick some times and (the signal is delayed between the keys and the computer ) since the information does not get sent right away from the keys to the computer I have to push the number button several times( some times resulting in some interesting symbols).... This is kinda fun ... I am getting other symbols not listed on the list too .
I just kept pushing alt + 13 over and over because I was frustrated it was not working immediately..... coolness !
